January 18th, 2010 - Joseph's second tooth came in today, his bottom left central incisor.
January , 2010 - Joseph has started army-crawling around the house late this month.
February 12th, 2010 - Today Joseph balanced himself on his hands and knees.
March 7th, 2010 - Joseph started saying "Dada" today and has recently begun clapping when anyone says "clap".
March 9th, 2010 - Caroline and Joseph had check-ups at the doctor's office today and are both doing well:

March 17th, 2010 - Joseph's top right central incisor came in today.
March 20th, 2010 - Today Joseph waved for the first time.
March 26th, 2010 - Joseph's fourth tooth, his top left central incisor, came in today.
April, 2010 - Joseph's birth announcement appeared in the Spring edition of the Vanderbilt Magazine.
April 2nd, 2010 - Today Joseph pulled up to standing by himself.
April 4th, 2010 - Caroline went to Easter service with the family today - her first time in the church service, rather than the nursery, and her first time receiving Communion.
April 12th, 2010 - Joseph began crawling using his knees today, but still prefers to army crawl.
April 23rd, 2010 - Eleanor had her first sleepover tonight at her friend Isabella's house.
April 24th, 2010 - Joseph stood by himself for a few seconds several times today.
May 14th, 2010 - Today Joseph said "Hi!" for the first time.
May 21st, 2010 - Joseph said "bye bye" and "night-night" today.
May 28th - June 6th, 2010 - Our family took a vacation to Bald Head Island, NC.
June 4th, 2010 - Joseph has started saying "tickle, tickle" and wiggles his fingers.
June 5th, 2010 - Joseph turned 1 year old today!
June, 2010 - Joseph began saying "ball", "uh-oh", "more", and "thank you" this month. He also imitates the cats when he sees them, saying "maow!".
Eleanor's first adult tooth came in this month, too. Her bottom left front tooth came in behind her baby tooth, which is very wiggly.
July 5th, 2010 - Joseph said "book" for the first time today. He also got teeth # 5 & 6, his top two lateral incisors, today.
July 6th, 2010 - Eleanor had her bottom two front teeth pulled today - she's lost a total of four now, all by the dentist.
July 10th, 2010 - Today, on Eleanor's 6th birthday, Joseph took his first steps - four in a row, followed by taking four in a row several times again over the next five minutes.
August, 2010 - This month Joseph has begun learning his animal sounds - tiger, horse, cow, cat, dog, etc. - and has started saying "Eleanor" and "Laroline" ...close enough.
September, 2010 - This month Eleanor got 3 of her 6-year molars and Joseph got his left and right bottom lateral incisors.
November, 2010 - This month Joseph had molars come in on the top right and left.
November, 10th 2010 - Today Joseph said his first sentance: "Shoes, where are you?"
November, 14th 2010 - Eleanor sang with the choir at church for the first time.
December, 2010 - Joseph's bottom right canine tooth came in.
