January 7th, 2008 - This morning Caroline counted from one to ten by herself.
February 4th, 2008 - Today Granddaddy went to heaven.

March 3rd, 2008 - Caroline turned 2 years old today.
March 6th, 2008 - Caroline had her 2-year doctor's appointment today and is doing very well.

March 8th, 2008 - The girls got to see their first "big" snow this morning (~4 inches).
March 21st, 2008 - Eleanor and Caroline saw thier first movie at a theater today, "Horton Hears A Who".
March 22nd, 2008 - Caroline her second birthday party at Gigi's house in Hickory today.
April 1st, 2008 - Eleanor went to the dentist today for the first time.
May 3rd, 2008 - Today the girls finished up their second year of swim school at Vanderbilt.
Also today, Caroline slept in her big-girl bed for the first time.
May 27th, 2008 - Caroline had her first haircut today.
June 2nd, 2008 - Eleanor began preschool today. During her first day, she worked on writing the letters A, E, and L.
July 14th, 2008 - Eleanor had her 4-year doctor's appointment today and is healthy and growing fast.

August, 2008 - Eleanor and Caroline spent a week in Emerald Isle, NC with their parents, Gram and Papa Ridgway, Gigi and Papa, Aunt Susan and Uncle George, Aunt Courtney and Uncle Jeff, and Sydney.
August 18th, 2008 - Today was Caroline's first day of preschool and Eleanor's first day of the new preschool year.
August 24th, 2008 - Caroline went to Sunday school for the first time today and Eleanor moved up to the four-year-old class.
August 26th, 2008 - Today Eleanor began ballet class.
August 31st, 2008 - Eleanor went to a regular church service with her parents for the first time today.
September 4th, 2008 - Gigi (Bryant) went to preschool with Eleanor and Caroline today for Grandparents' Day.
October 5th, 2008 - Eleanor received communion at church this morning for the first time.
October 7th, 2008 - Caroline went to the dentist for the first time today.
October 8th, 2008 - Today we found out that Eleanor and Caroline are going to have a baby brother or sister next June.
October 25th, 2008 - Eleanor and Caroline were flowergirls in Miss Janey's wedding.
October 30th, 2008 - The whole family went to see the new baby's picture at the doctor's office today.
November 25th, 2008 - Today Eleanor and Caroline performed Thanksgiving programs at their school and had lunch there with their parents.
December 1st, 2008 - Today we all went to see the new baby's picture at the doctor's office again, and he/she looks very healthy.
December 2nd, 2008 - Today Mommy, Daddy, and Caroline went to watch Eleanor's ballet class perform. Eleanor is quite a ballerina!
